House Rules | The German version of our Haus Rule takes precedence over the English version. In case of doubt, the German version shall be taken as reference.

Dear guests, Welcome to the Hotel Brunnenhof!

These house rules are intended to help you as a guest by describing how we imagine the mutual interaction in the house as well as with the rooms and the inventory. By treating the rooms properly, you will help us to provide you and other guests with a nice room in the future. For this we have worked out some rules, which we hope that you understand. This set of rules defines, for example, the provision of services, liability and behavior for the stay in the hotel. They are part of the accommodation contract. By booking, signing the registration card, as well as with payment of an advance, a partial or full amount for the stay at the hotel, the guest confirms that he has taken note of these house rules and accepts them. Here are some details:

The most important thing is said with one sentence: We ask all guests to behave in such a way that the other guests and our neighbors are not disturbed.

  • From 10 p.m. room volume must be maintained in all rooms.
  • Also in the corridors and in the stairwell please behave calmly.
  • Drunk guests can be expelled from the hotel.
  • The Child and Youth Protection Act applies in all rooms and in the outdoor facilities.

General

  • If you need help or have questions, please contact us around the clock.
  • At check-in, 1 key is issued for each room. Please leave it at the reception when leaving the hotel. We are busy 24 hours. The loss of a key means that we have to have the lock replaced. For this we will be charged € 150.00. On the day of departure, hand in the key at the reception by 11 a.m. at the latest.
  • The hotel reserves the right to check the credit card provided
  • During your stay at the hotel, we ask you to behave in an environmentally friendly manner, especially when dealing with heating, water and electricity.
  • The staff of the hotel is entitled to enter the hotel room during the guest’s stay for the purpose of cleaning, carrying out repair work and the like. With a red card, your room will not be cleaned.
  • Please close all windows when leaving the room to avoid damage caused by severe weather, for example.
  • When the heating is started, please keep the windows closed.
  • When leaving the room, the TV and the light must be switched off.
  • For safety reasons, open fire, smoking and lighting candles are strictly prohibited in the lift, the stairwells and corridors, the breakfast room, the sanitary areas and the hotel rooms. We would like to point out that costs may be incurred in the event of a violation.
  • All furnishings that are in your room may be used by you as intended. Please, handle the entire facility and inventory with care. It is your responsibility to treat the room with care and to ensure that your fellow travelers also comply with these rules.
  • The hotel is entitled to terminate accommodation contracts, even after reference, with immediate effect and, in exercise of its house right, to expel the guest or the group of guests from the house, if the guest or the guest group harms the security or reputation of the hotel, is suspected of committing criminal offenses or repeatedly harassing, disturbing or endangering other guests, residents, passers-by or neighbors.
  • Insbesondere wiederholte Zuwiderhandlungen des Gastes oder der Gästegruppe gegen die Hausordnung, sowie die Beschädigung, Beschmutzung oder der Diebstahl von Hoteleigentum berechtigen zur sofortigen Kündigung durch das Hotel. Dies gilt auch, wenn der Gast das Zimmer zu einem anderen als dem vereinbarten Zweck verwendet. In diesen Fällen ist der Gast gegebenenfalls zum Schadensersatz und zur Bezahlung der bereits in Anspruch genommenen Beherbergung, sowie zur Bezahlung noch nicht in Anspruch genommener Beherbergung gemäß den Stornierungsregelungen verpflichtet.

Parking

  • In our courtyard you have the possibility to park or park cars and two-wheelers for the duration of your stay. For the parking of your vehicle, 4 parking facilities are provided and marked on our property. We ask you to park in a space-saving area. If it is necessary, you will be politely asked to repark your vehicle according to the instructions of a hotel employee. Parking your vehicle outside this marked area is prohibited and may result in a chargeable removal of your vehicle.
  • The parking lot in the courtyard can only be used from 06:00-22:00, as most of our rooms face the courtyard.
  • On the day of departure, the rental of the pitch ends at 11 a.m.
  • Please note that the StVO applies to our entire hotel grounds. Our property is a private property, which is subject to our house law. The instructions of the hotel staff regarding the parking of your vehicle must be followed. Escape and rescue routes that are marked as such must be kept clear and can also lead to the immediate removal of your vehicle for a fee in the event of a violation.
  • Parking in the courtyard outside your stay is only permitted with the express consent of our house. Parking your vehicle on our property is at your own risk. The parking facilities are neither guarded, nor are they protected by special protective measures against external influences of third parties. We expressly assume no liability for damage to the vehicle or its contents

Liability

  • No one intentionally damages or loses things. However, it can happen to anyone that something is broken or lost. We would be pleased if you would inform us of the damage or Report loss. So we can still try to solve it during your stay.
  • The hotel is liable for damages caused by grossly negligent acts of vicarious agents.

Security

  • House entrances, stairs and corridors are to be kept clear as escape routes.
  • In our house, guests are not allowed to use electrical appliances, except hair dryers and electric shavers. This applies in particular to immersion heaters, hotplates, irons, etc.
  • Straighteners must not be placed on the furniture or carpets in the hot state!
  • For safety reasons, it is not allowed to lean out of the windows, they may only be opened for ventilation.
  • The window sill must not be used as a seat and nothing must be thrown out of the windows! Please do not store any belongings there either.
  • It is forbidden to climb in or out of the windows. The terrace on the 4th floor must not be entered. The safety ladders may only be used in an emergency.
  • The maximum payload of the elevators must be observed. In the event of improper use, the hotel assumes no liability and the resulting costs are to be paid directly on site.

Escape routes and emergency exits

  • After a fire alarm is triggered, it is no longer allowed to enter the rooms.
  • The hotel must be left on the fastest way. In this case, only the stairwells may be used, but under no circumstances the elevators.
  • Escape plans hang on the room doors, as well as in the hallways. The escape meeting point is opposite the hotel.
  • If the staircase is inaccessible in the event of a fire, please stay in the room, close the door and do not lock it. Inform the reception by calling the internal telephone number “Reception” and make yourself felt at the open window.

Valuables

  • Cash, securities and other valuables can be deposited on request in the hotel safe at the reception.
  • The hotel expressly assumes no liability for the loss of valuables (especially jewelry and cash). It is the guest’s responsibility to take care of the valuables and keep them safe.

Found and Lost

  • We ask you to report or return lost or found items to the reception.
  • If you miss something, please report it immediately to the reception. For such cases, our reception is available 24/7 at the hotel telephone number. We’ll check if anything has been found.

Smoking

  • Open fire and lighting candles are prohibited in the entire hotel area.
  • Smoking is generally prohibited throughout the hotel and without exception. Smoking is only allowed in the outdoor area at the entrance doors and in front of the house.
  • There is a cannabis/marijuana consumption ban on the hotel property. Since we have families with children as guests, we cannot tolerate this.
  • If it is determined that there was smoking in the rooms, an extra cleaning fee of € 150.00 will be charged for odor neutralization and the room will be blocked for two days at the expense of the daily price so that we can provide the next guest with an odor-free room.
  • The manipulation or disassembly of the smoke detector is strictly prohibited and results in this smoke detector being replaced for a lump sum of € 250.00 to restore the full functionality of our safety device and fire alarm system. This amount is to be paid immediately in cash upon becoming aware of it. If the manipulation of the security device only turns out after the departure of the guest, the lump sum will increase to € 350.00 to compensate for the administrative act.
  • Damage such as burn spots and holes in or on furniture, floor, bed linen, tablecloths, etc. will result in us having to charge you for the damage at the replacement value.
  • If a fire alarm is triggered by unauthorized smoking because smoke detectors have been manipulated, the hotel assumes no liability. The resulting costs are to be borne by the polluter.
  • The hotel reserves the right to claim a higher claim if, for example, the hotel is charged for a fire brigade operation or a fire caused by unauthorized smoking, has caused damage to the hotel property.

Alcohol, illegal drugs and weapons

  • The increased consumption of alcohol and the bringing of drugs and weapons of any kind lead to the immediate ban on house and property. In any case, we will immediately notify the competent authorities.

Rooms

  • Please be considerate of the relaxation of other guests in the hotel and avoid noise and disturbances of any kind, especially after 22:00.
  • We ask you to report complaints immediately to the reception.
  • Children under the age of 18 are only allowed to stay in the hotel if accompanied and supervised by adults. The legal guardians or the booker are liable for the behavior or damage caused by children and consequential damages
  • Dirt in the room caused by the guest by food and/or drinks will be removed at the expense of the guest. This also applies to packaging, outer cartons and in particular empty goods. Contaminants that can no longer be cleaned, such as in mattresses, on the carpet or even on furniture, will be charged to the guest at the replacement value.
  • Guests are not entitled to make changes to the hotel rooms and their furnishings. In particular, the transfer of the furniture is generally prohibited.
  • Our rooms are cleaned daily. However, please pay attention to cleanliness in the rooms, which goes beyond the daily routine cleaning. We ask for the cleanest possible handling. Extraordinary dirt requires high cleaning costs, which unfortunately have to be charged.
  • We ask you not to consume hot or strong smelling food in the room. The smell settles in the textiles. You are welcome to sit in our lounge at any time and enjoy your food at the table. Talk to our team. We can also provide you with plates and cutlery and also heat something in the microwave.
  • Cooking food in the room, washing clothes and drying is not allowed.
  • Please note that additional costs per hour up to turnover losses per day can be calculated depending on the damage/effort.

Shower / WC

  • For the sake of the environment, it is also customary in our hotel that the towels of guests during their stay are only changed when they have been placed on the floor by the guest. Towels on the hook means: the guest is ready to use them.
  • For technical reasons, hygiene products or food residues may not be disposed of in the toilet. Please do not throw pads and tampons into the toilet, but use the hygiene bags provided for this and dispose of them in the trash!

Visitors

  • Persons not registered in the hotel are only allowed access to the rooms after prior registration at the reception. The hotel can deny access in individual cases. The overnight stay of persons outside the house is generally prohibited. The key may not be passed on to strangers.
  • The stay of non-registered persons after 10 p.m. in the hotel room is not permitted and will be considered and charged as the consent of the reported hotel guest to paid accommodation in the event of non-compliance. Each additional person will be charged at the reception based on the current adult rate.

Breakfast

  • The breakfast buffet is served daily from 07:00 to 10:00.
  • If you have not booked breakfast when booking your room, you can book it on site. Please understand that guests who have booked in advance will be treated preferentially when assigning the table.
  • The removal of food and drinks from the breakfast room is not permitted, unless expressly permitted by the hotel.
  • If you still want to do this, this can be arranged with our team for an additional fee.
